Monthly Archives: March 2012 This afternoon I sent my friend Noa a text message with a picture of me in a wedding dress. I explained to her that I was out thrift store shopping and looking for dresses, ideas and props. Her response? “Wow. Your work day is different than mine.” Which prompted me to share a couple photos…  If you’re from Amador County, I don’t have to tell you where Andrae’s Bakery is; you already know, and you go as often as your wallet and waistline permit. For those of you who have not yet tasted the Epicurean delights waiting for you in Amador City (miscellaneous fact to clutter your mind with useless…  Yesterday was such a beautiful day, so I hopped in the car, no particular destination in mind. With the sun beckoning, it was just a wandering sort of day. It is so green during this time of the year, making it my favorite month for driving the backroads of Amador County, especially the long winding…  I never know where to start. Let’s just assume that with most of what I have to say, there is no proper start and no proper end. Just a whole lot of rambling middle. I am sitting here in my room/office, frustrated at myself. Why? Another day where I had oh so many plans, but…  Melissa is the girl next door. Literally. Tanner’s family moved into the house next to hers when they were kids, and when they were 12 and 11 they told their parents they were boyfriend and girlfriend. But Melissa’s mom informed her that they were too young, so they dropped the title and just hung out… |
